Our range of connectors includes but is not limited to :
 |
HDM Connector Range (Coaxial / Electrical / Optical)
The HDM series is an underwater connector designed for ROV comms module applications, hydraulic power unit (HPU) applications, Optical Fibre (Fiber) paths for comms or video, coaxial paths for video or combinations of all the above. Rated to 3,450 MSW as standard and with a 6,000 MSW option to meet most ocean floor applications.
|
HDM series electrical connectors are renewable energy industry proven and we have developed shell sizes and pin configuration up to 11.1 kV at 320 Amps current rating. Partial Discharge Technology is also used in our termination process to assure continuity and insulation resistance of the connection in long life subsea applications.

HMK Electrical Connectors
With the introduction of the HMK Underwater Connectors series in 1999 Hydro Bond Engineering Ltd has further enhanced the diver Wet Mateable Electrical Connector design to incorporate a full metal key way to assure non rotation of the connector body on make up. All the quality and benefits that you know with Hydro Bond products but with a metal key way.

HMC Mini Connector (Electrical / Fibre Optic)
The Hydrobond Miniature Connector (HMC) is a new range of Underwater Connectors from Hydrobond Engineering Ltd which utilises high pin density in a small package. Overall shell size diameters range from 16mm, 18mm and 22mm O.D. Material in Stainless Steel 316 as standard with Aluminium Silicon Bronze coupling and standard electrical configuration options are available ranging from 2 up to 32 way low voltage conductors in the various shell sizes.
|
This connector range which is deck mateable and rated to 1,250 MSW, also comes in a low voltage and fibre optic (multi or single mode), combination. Positive metal key way prevents misalignment and rotation, and is designed for continual mate de-mate usage.

HRS Electrical Connectors
HYDRO BOND underwater mateable rubber sealing connectors are designed for deep sea applications down to 5000ft, (1524m). Each contact, cable and connector housing is chemically bonded into a synthetic rubber matrix. This prevents water ingress to the cable cores even when the connectors are unmated.
|
A positive "stop flange" indicates when the fix ring is fully engaged and prevents the connector from being overtightened. Once mated electrical isolation between contacts is achieved by means of individual rubber cylindrical sealing arrangements. Disengagement is made easy by the fix ring which jacks the connector apart.
Specially designed contacts ensure excellent electrical conductivity. The connector shells are manufactured from S316 stainless steel. Alternative metal shells to suit customers individual requirements can also be supplied
